# Catalogue review — 2 October 2026

The supplied 300-entry list adds 256 field stops to the existing 33, giving 289 distinct destinations. Six entries are included under their parent building and five are excluded below. All names on the website are English.

## Model and photograph coverage

275 destinations have a model: the 33 existing detailed studies and 242 additions with mapped OSM massing. 14 destinations currently use location markers. 272 destinations have a credited photograph. These are not 289 detailed reconstructions.

Central London retains its continuous 3D surroundings. Distant destinations use local context patches, without loading all of Greater London. Photos load when their card is opened. All 275 modelled stops support visited exterior colours. The 242 new massing palettes are approximate: 192 use the credited card photographs, 34 use limited views (including monochrome, interior, night or distant photographs), and 16 are provisional pending photographic verification. Roof colours, joint layouts and multi-building selections remain inferred. These are display-only material studies, not photo textures or detailed facade reconstructions. The 14 location-only stops retain visit records without a reveal.

## Geometry and reuse

OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL 1.0. Cached Greater London extract: 29 September 2026, with the previous central-London geometry preserved. Source links are on each card. Coordinates share the original AEQD metre origin (51.51° N, 0.106° W). Recorded height, storey estimates and 12 m assumptions remain distinct. No random infill or bounding-box building replacements are used. New massing does not imply surveyed height, roof geometry or facade detail.

Individual model downloads use Rhino 6 mesh format and can be opened in Rhino 7. Keep each supplied local origin for reimport. Regional files use the shared city origin.

## Architectural form review — 15 October 2026

All 289 retained stops were reviewed. 100 landmark groups received individual form corrections; 17 further stops have reviewed improvements from rendering their existing roof metadata. These counts do not mean fully reconstructed facades or measured survey models. Each corrected card explains its assumptions. Visit IDs and mapped surroundings are preserved.

Limit: Portico and dome type follow Historic England; portico outline is mapped. Dome centre setback, widths and 35.3 m total height are photo estimates, not surveyed dimensions. The remaining museum roof stays simplified.
- **St Paul’s Church, Deptford** — West semicircular portico opened between columns; two-stage round tower and two-stage polygonal spire added. Limit: Location and portico outline follow the mapped west apse. Tower type follows Historic England. 39.3 m total height, column dimensions and individual stage proportions are photo estimates; stone carving and side pediments remain simplified.
- **Victoria and Albert Museum** — Cromwell Road entrance gains an octagonal upper tower, openwork crown and small Fame silhouette. Limit: Entrance position is mapped; the architectural form follows the museum and credited photo. Widths, 37.5 m total height and crown structure are photo estimates. Remaining roof ranges and sculpture are simplified; this is not a measured model.
- **Serpentine South Gallery** — Hipped pavilion roof and central cupola replace the flat twelve-metre block. Limit: Mapped footprint retained. Roof ridge, eaves and 15 m cupola top are proportional estimates from the credited exterior photo; the 1934 tea-pavilion identity follows Serpentine. Dormers and front pediment remain simplified.
- **Chiswick House** — Octagonal saloon drum and shallow dome added; south-east portico opened into six columns beneath its pediment. Limit: Mapped villa and portico outlines retained. Dome, drum and portico heights are estimated from the photograph; the 20 m top is not surveyed. Ancillary source masses remain simplified. The dome form follows English Heritage.
- **Royal Observatory · Flamsteed House** — Octagon Room, two corner turrets, curved caps, roof balustrade and red time ball added instead of a single solid block. Limit: Mapped house outline retained; octagon and turret locations are registered to footprint corners using the credited photo. Heights, widths and 19.1 m mast top are estimated; this models Flamsteed House, not the separate Great Equatorial telescope dome.
- **Princess of Wales Conservatory, Kew Gardens** — Low parallel pitched glass bays and framing replace the flat slab; the stepped mapped perimeter is preserved. Limit: Glasshouse roof type follows Kew and the credited exterior photo. Bay spacing, eaves and roof orientation are photo-informed estimates; the existing 6.4 m maximum is retained. Climate-zone interior partitions are omitted.
- **Royal Festival Hall** — The raised auditorium receives its shallow curved copper roof, using the separately mapped inner hall rectangle. Limit: Mapped auditorium plan, 19.2 m shoulder and 22.4 m source maximum retained. Curve shape is estimated from the exterior photograph; the foyer envelope remains source massing and this is not a measured auditorium model.
- **Michael Faraday Memorial** — The assumed 12 m block becomes a low suspended stainless-steel box, with a visible undercroft and four proud black steel supports. Limit: The listed description establishes the suspended enclosure and four supports. Mapped 23 m plan retained; 6.6 m enclosure, 0.7 m clearance and 8.2 m steel top are proportional estimates from the credited photo, not measured dimensions. Panel joints and dishing are material detail, not modelled geometry.
- **Paddington Elizabeth line Station** — An open-sided glass canopy with slender columns and cross-beams replaces the opaque 12 m station block. Limit: Existing mapped outer canopy footprint retained; engineering sources confirm the long open glass canopy. 8.1 m top, member sizes and frame spacing are exterior-photo estimates. The below-ground station and its excavated lightwell are not represented in this above-ground city model.
- **Newport Street Gallery** — Five related gallery volumes gain the architect-drawn unequal sawtooth north roof, central hipped workshop, low link, southern gable and taller flat end block. Limit: Roof profile and five building divisions follow Caruso St John’s published elevation, sections and model. The elevation is proportionally registered to the mapped street frontage; heights and division positions are estimates, not a measured plan. Small rooflights, parapet thicknesses and interior subdivisions are omitted.
- **US Embassy, Nine Elms** — The embassy is restored to its recorded 65.3 m cube height and gains 399 curved solar-sail modules on the east, south and west elevations, leaving the north glass facade clear. Limit: 65.3 m height follows the Council on Vertical Urbanism record; sail count and solar-facing sides follow the facade manufacturer. The 19 by 7 module arrangement, hourglass edges, projections and panel curvature are photo-informed approximations. Internal garden recesses, precise cables and roof equipment remain simplified.
- **St Michael and All Angels, Bedford Park** — The nave and public hall gain pitched roofs; six gabled clerestory dormers and an open ridge lantern with cupola restore the church silhouette. Limit: Historic England confirms the continuous nave roof, three dormers on each side and open ridge lantern. Mapped two-building footprint retained. 15.5 m nave ridge, 23.2 m finial, dormer dimensions and lantern position are photo estimates; decorative Dutch gables and porch details remain simplified.
- **Horniman Museum** — The flat museum block is replaced by two longitudinal barrel-roof halls, a lower central gallery link, and the south-east rounded clocktower with its circular crown and four domed turrets. Limit: Original mapped footprint retained; hall divisions and clocktower position are registered to the existing aerial photograph and mapped corner projection. Roof heights (15.6 m east and 15.1 m west) and 30.5 m turret tops are photographic estimates, not measured survey. Mosaic, clock faces, fine stone relief, transverse hall gables and later courtyard details remain simplified.
- **Red House, Bexleyheath** — The L-shaped house gains steep hipped tile roofs, a distinct north cross-wing, the mapped inner-angle stair-tower roof, projecting porch and prominent chimney stacks. Limit: Mapped L-plan, stair and porch projections retained. Historic England confirms hipped roofs and a pointed stair tower. Ridge heights, pitch, stack positions and sizes are photo estimates. Dormers, the garden well and decorative timber details are not reconstructed without registered plans.
